Let’s get started today!
Personal Service-You will receive personalized discreet and attentive service. Unlike some big clinics, you will not see a different therapist at each visit. Instead, We will be here to guide and help you throughout your course of treatments, providing ongoing assessment of your personal program.
The first session for clients new to the Center (Body By Design2) is a 45-60 minute appointment which includes looking at your individual health history, explanation of procedure, Colon Hydrotherapy session, with abdominal massage (if needed) followed by use of vibration machine for 10 additional minutes if time permit, along with feedback and comments.
Colon cleansing (also known as colon therapy) colonic or colonic irrigation provides a safe way of infusing warm water into the rectum without chemicals or drugs. We use a closed hydrotherapy system, allowing waste and odors to be taken away out of a drain line to preserve dignity. All of our materials are disposable ensuring there is no possible contamination from previous treatments. The all-natural procedure is not painful and can actually feel refreshing. At the Center we use both the open and closed system. Depending of what is going on is how we will decide which system will be use in your personal situation. It is also a matter of personal preference, some folks like to be pampered and attended to, others like to be left alone. Both get the job done!
Open Colonic System
The Center (BodybyDesign2) uses an open system called Colenze. The open system is very gentle and is usually the better choice for clients who have any type of bowel discomfort. The open system is generally regarded as more comfortable and private than conventional closed systems. The Colenze system is a safe and gentle gravity-fed system complete with ultra-violet water filter/purification, odorless venting and automatic water temperature control. A open system is a better choice for clients who have injuries or other conditions causing a loss of the anal sphincter muscle or heavily compacted. On the Colenze table you will not be able to view the matter, but you will be able to push when the urge arises. After receiving your initial guidance to use the Colenze system, you, the client, are in control of your experience.
Closed Colonic System
Conventional closed systems require a therapist to assist with the insertion of the speculum into the client’s rectum and then attach a disposable hose. A sterile tube is inserted approximately two inches into the anal canal, and used only once. Attached to the tube for the inflow of water is a waste hose for the waste colon contents. As the colon fills up with water the peristaltic movements forces the water out eliminating waste material to a drain line. What is eliminated is visible through a sealed, clear viewing tube on the closed system. A pressurized stream of water is then delivered through the attached hose. When the colon is filled & pressure reaches maximum levels the therapist manually drains the colon back through the hose. Water pressure & temperature within the colon must be monitored constantly to avoid leakage, requiring the constant attention of the therapist.
Day of Session:
Its best NOT to consume liquids or food two hours prior to your appointment. Coming in with a full stomach may cause discomfort.
Eat lightly, soups that are vegetable based and preferable pureed, steamed veggies, and light meats. Easy to digest foods are best after a colonic to give the digestive system a break. Avoid rich foods, processed carbs, fried foods and sugars including fruit..
Note: There is paper work to fill out so be on time.
Wear socks if you are cold in nature.

The Truth About Colon Hydrotherapy
You will experience far greater benefits and improvements to your condition when Colonics are combined with lifestyle and nutritional changes. I will provide you with the knowledge you need to make your own positive choices and improvements to your well-being.
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on you, your symptoms and goals. Someone that
has chronic constipation (less than 1 bowel movement per day) may need
several treatments a few days in a row with a regimen of follow up sessions to
retrain the bowel as opposed to someone who is looking for preventative
measures or just for an enhanced sense of well-being.
*The above is simply a guideline.
